Timer Showing Wrong Time

If your countdown shows incorrect time remaining, here's how to fix it.

Check Timezone Settings


The most common cause is timezone misconfiguration:

  1. Edit your timer
  2. Go to Timer settings
  3. Verify the timezone matches your intended end time
  4. Update and save


Verify End Date/Time


  1. Double-check the date is correct
  2. Verify AM/PM if using 12-hour format
  3. Ensure year is correct


Browser Time


The timer uses the viewer's device time. If their clock is wrong, the timer appears off. This is expected behavior - the timer syncs to each user's local time based on your set timezone.


Cache Issues


Old timer data may be cached:

  • Clear browser cache
  • Hard refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R)
  • Check in incognito mode
