Using Background Images

Create visually stunning timers with custom background images or free stock photos from Pexels.

Accessing Background Image Settings


  1. Open your timer in the editor
  2. Click the Background tab
  3. Select the Image option


Option 1: Upload Your Own Image


  1. Click Upload Image
  2. Select an image from your computer
  3. The image appears as your background


Option 2: Use Pexels Free Photos


  1. Click Free Stock Images
  2. Search for any topic (e.g., "celebration", "sale", "business")
  3. Browse results and click to apply

All Pexels images are free to use commercially.

Image Settings


Size Options


  • Cover: Image fills entire background (may crop)
  • Contain: Entire image visible (may show gaps)
  • Custom: Set specific dimensions


Position


Choose where the image anchors: Center, Top, Bottom, Left, Right


Using Overlays


Add a color overlay to improve text readability:

  1. Enable the overlay toggle
  2. Choose an overlay color
  3. Adjust opacity (lower = more image visible)
